The BMA BoilerMaker Training programme offers you the opportunity to develop highly sought after welding skills in as little as 3 working days. The course runs for 3 consecutive days from 9am to 5pm (Monday – Wednesday) and is guaranteed to be challenging and rewarding!
The course is designed to give you an introduction to the basics of gas metal arc welding and you will be taught by experienced welding instructors on our modern training machinery. Once you\’ve completed your training you will be awarded with a Nationally Recognized qualification.

We are the only Welding Training school to offer the Industry Standard TIG welding machines. We do not use welding machines that have been broken down and welded back together that the other welding schools are using, these welding machines give poor quality welds and we think it\’s a rip of to pay for it.
The BMA Academy was designed by industry experts, and we pride ourselves on the fact that we use only the very best equipment.
We currently have 24 students taking our accredited Welding Training course (WTC 1014) which is what is required by registered companies such as Arcelor Mittal.
This course takes 4 months full-time or 8 months part-time.
Welding training can be taken from the age of 16 with parental consent.
Our TIG ,Co2,Arc and Flux courses are also accredited by FETA (Federation of Tertiary Acedamy).
